Mentt has been involved in the 3GPP research and standardization project at Renesas Mobile for the interworking mechanisms and systems aspect between GERAN, UMTS/HSPA and LTE.  Some of the 3GPP work items where we have been involved are: GERAN interworking with LTE (GELTE), Home NB and Home eNB enhancements – GERAN aspects (EHNB-GERAN),

Full Support of Multi-Operator Core Network by GERAN (Full_MOCN-GERAN), Single Radio Voice Call Continuity from UTRAN/GERAN to E-UTRAN/HSPA (rSRVCC). With the 3GPP Rel-11 completion we take pride in particular that we could be part of the Renesas Mobile experts team on the 3GPP Rel-12 in defining Proximity Services (ProSE).
